Spent Thanksgiving Day in Manhattan with my son, his fiancee and her family. Stayed a few hours extra on Friday, in order to make a trip to the KSU Insect Zoo to see what tarantulas were available for sale. Picked up nice A. geniculata and G. rosea juvies and a good-sized A. versicolor spiderling. I believe the rosie came from Tarantulas, Inc., as the info on the ID tag included 408TI (hatched 4/2008 at TI, according to what I've been told previously). The White Knee label says "1207JR". I'm assuming this means it hatched in 12/07. Any idea which breeder would be "JR"? I didn't think to ask before I left. No info labels on the versi container. The young lady who's been working at the Zoo the last couple of times we've visited is awesome! Very sweet and knowledgeable about their T's. If you haven't been to the Zoo, do make a trip.

Awh, bummer I had the whole week off for Thanksgiving so I could have tortured the whole family with a visit ;D.
Sounds like a great visit, congrats on the new T's. Post some pics if you have a chance - things have been a little quiet lately.
