Ok, need a little advice. Kellen and I went on the May bug hunt with John and we found some really cool stuff - including a nice sized Tiger centipede - Scolopendra polymorpha I believe. Since we had not found a T, I thought it would be cool to keep the centipede. He made it home OK, but promptly escaped about 3 days later. Its been 3 weeks and I haven't seen it yet. Any suggestions on how to tell the wife a 4" centipede is loose in the house ;D. I'm hoping that he's just curled up in a box somewhere dead from lack of water.

ive had one get out and i never saw it again. chances are good you will never see yours again either and that it may be dead and dehydrated somewhere. if it were something more dangerous, i could see room for panic, as is i think your going to be fine, so no worries!
